Key activities include liaising with ACNAP Board members and committees regarding initiative development and progress, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies and, with expert support from the ACNAP management team, oversee and report on the ACNAP budget. Due to the growing success of ACNAPs’ partnerships with industry an industry-specific liaison officer role is open for election for the first time! This dynamic role will work to continue to build our partnerships with industry and identify, initiate and formalise new industry partners. Not only will you work closely with industry but also with ACNAP’s Education and Congress committees to align industry and ACNAP priorities. Strong communication and networking skills are needed that will enable maturation of existing relationships and development of new ones. If this is you, we are looking forward to your application!

ACNAP takes the environmental impacts on cardiovascular disease and the environmental impact of activities very seriously – ACNAP are the only Association of the ESC to have this position on its Board! This exciting and important role involves championing sustainable cardiovascular care across ACNAP - working across ACNAP Committees to establish and progress environmental objectives associated with ACNAP activities as well as working with the ESC on ACNAP’s behalf on this agenda. If you have expertise and a strong interest in environmental sustainability in cardiovascular health and healthcare, please apply to join us!

  • 1 Equity and Inclusion Officer

New role: This important and meaningful new role will work closely with the ESC, ACNAP Board and ACNAP Committees to develop and implement strategies to promote equity and inclusion across all ACNAP activities. This relates to ensuring patient partnership, promoting the voice and influence of nurses and allied professionals, fostering equity of access and care within clinical practice and encouraging the inclusion of underrepresented groups in scientific and academic work. If you have expertise and a strong passion in leading or supporting equity and inclusion initiatives, we encourage you to apply!

  • 2 Ordinary Board Members

Ordinary board members are anything but ordinary! The remit of these dynamic roles is to actively contribute to any ACNAP Board objectives. These roles are a wonderful way to get involved in several areas of ACNAP work depending on your experience and expertise. We are particularly keen to have members that have expertise and enthusiasm in leadership or in the development of ACNAP’s international community partnerships. These are great roles to add value to delivering ACNAP’s strategy in a variety of ways. Please apply if you are proactive and a great team player!

Nominating Committee

  • 5 Nominating Committee Members

The Nominating Committee is an essential part of ACNAP governance with significant strategic influence in selecting ACNAP’s next elected voting members and members of the succeeding ACNAP nominating committee. Members will evaluate candidates with fairness, transparency, and balance and promoting diversity across geography, gender, and disciplines. These roles are time-bound (election-year only) but crucial to ACNAP.
