Transforming cardiovascular health

Partnership between the European Society of Cardiology and public health actors is essential to shift from treating cardiovascular disease to preventing it. We work within a large ecosystem of public health actors, including other scientific organisations and coalitions, patient groups and EU-level forums. Discover our partners in the our Public Health section.

Our collective voice to influence change

Raising awareness and supporting systemic change

We build these partnerships and collations to ensure a unified, credible approach to tackling the root causes of cardiovascular disease.

For example, in 2022 we co-founded the European Alliance for Cardiovascular Health (EACH) which brings together leading European and international organisations around joint activities to promote cardiovascular health as a policy priority at EU level. This Alliance is a central platform for championing a vital EU-wide cardiovascular action plan.

By raising awareness and supporting systemic change at policy and regulatory levels, we aim to create dialogue that inspires confidence, fosters solutions and drives real impact for patients and professionals alike.

“Partnerships bring together the strength of diverse perspectives, from science and policy to community and lived experience, creating far more powerful messages for change. The ESC has a long tradition of building connections and uniting voices across sectors, because we know that only by working together can we shape policies that truly protect cardiovascular health for all.”
