ESC Working Group on Myocardial Function

Dear Colleagues of the WG on Myocardial Function,

We are just back from the Heart Failure Congress that took place in May in Belgrade. We thoroughly enjoyed the meeting. It was great to see many of you there, and to share amazing science and discussions in a beautiful location.

If you missed it, you can still view the sessions at ESC365. These were some of our favorite sessions!

  • Clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential in cardiovascular disease: from atherosclerosis to heart failure (link).
  • Mechanical unloading in cardiogenic shock (link)
  • Late-breaking science: screening for heart failure and prognostic models (link)
  • Therapeutic modulation of the immune system in heart failure (link)
  • New insights into cancer therapy-related cardiac dysfunction (link)
  • Biomarkers in the era of 'OMICS': potential beyond diagnosis (link)
  • New frontiers in heart failure therapies (link)
New Scientific Statement from the WG!

Don’t forget to check the most recent publication of the WG in collaboration with the WG on Cellular Biology of the Heart just published in the European Journal of Heart Failure:
