Online symposium organised by the ESC Working Group on Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology and the ESC Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science
During this symposium attendees learn the definition of gender, sex and the variety of environmental, socio-economic factors influencing gender. Furthermore, differences between gender and sexes regarding cardiovascular disease onset, development and therapy will be highlighted. Evidence coming from basic research and clinical studies will be presented and discussed.
