Dear colleagues,
We are delighted to share a few exciting updates from our community.
Our preparations for EuroACHD 2026 are well underway. The meeting will take place in Madrid on 10–11 April 2026, and we are looking forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an inspiring and engaging congress. The preliminary programme is now available and abstract submissions are open — we warmly encourage you to share your latest research and clinical experience. In addition, a pre-meeting dedicated to diagnostic techniques will be held on 9 April, offering a practical and interactive start to the event. For more information, please visit the event webpage.
Alongside the congress, we continue to work on initiatives aimed at advancing the field and supporting clinical practice. We are pleased to announce that a Clinical Consensus Statement for Anaesthesia in ACHD will soon be published — a collaborative effort between our Working Group and the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC), the European Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (EACTAIC), and the International Society of Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ISACHD).
We thank you all for your continued commitment and collaboration. Together, we are strengthening the ACHD community and shaping the future of care for our patients.
As always, stay connected with us on our social channels for more information. (link to X and to LinkedIn)
