Dear colleagues,

We are still elated from the amazing time we had at EuroACHD 2025 in Naples. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our local hosts, Giancarlo Scognamiglio and Berardo Sarubbi, for putting together such a fantastic scientific programme and for their warm welcome. They have set a high standard, and we are looking forward to maintaining this excellence at the forthcoming EuroACHD 2026 in Madrid (more information on this soon!).

In the near future, we are preparing for ESC Congress 2025 together with the World Congress of Cardiology  from Friday, 29 August to Monday, 01 September 2025 in Madrid, Spain, with the spotlight theme ‘Global Health’. We shall keep you posted on the activity on adult congenital heart diseases in due time.

We are also excited to share that our working group, in collaboration with the EACVI, has just released a Scientific Statement on Three-Dimensional Echocardiography in Adults with Congenital Heart Disease. It includes detailed and easy-to-follow info on the benefits of 3DE in CHD, its role in diagnosis and follow-up, and the training needed to master 3DE in adult CHD.
