The European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing (EJCN) is an official peer-reviewed international journal of the European Society of Cardiology’s (ESC) Association for Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions (ACNAP) dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in the field of cardiovascular care and the promotion of evidence-based clinical practice.

The journal aims to provide the most precise and accurate evidence to support the delivery of interdisciplinary care to achieve the ESC's mission: to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease.

 The EJCN seeks highly engaged and motivated candidates for the position of EJCN Editor-in-Chief (EiC) whose main mission will be to help advance the global cardiovascular health community’s knowledge in all aspects of cardiovascular nursing and allied professions.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic clinical nursing or allied professional cardiovascular researcher who is a widely published author in top-tier journals.

ACNAP is interested in receiving applications from candidates fulfilling the criteria below:

  • highly regarded in the field of cardiovascular nursing and care throughout the world, with wide experience as an author, reviewer, and editor/associate editor
  • recognised for his/her team leading ability and capacity to build successful working relationships
  • must be an ACNAP Silver Member
