Heart Failure 2023, Prague & Online, 20 - 23 May

Heart Failure 2023 will be held in person in Prague, Czech Republic. The congress programme committee is delighted to have the opportunity to reunite again with the Heart Failure community, so join us onsite to present your research!

Mark your calendar with key dates

  • Monday, 24 October 2022 - Opening abstract submissions
  • Monday, 16 January 2023 – 12:00 (noon) CET - Abstract submission deadline
  • Thursday, 19 January 2023 – 12:00 (noon) CET - Extended abstract submission deadline
  • Late February 2023 - Abstract results announcement online. An email will also be sent to each submitter.

Presentation formats

All presenters will be required to present their research onsite in Prague.

Selected abstracts will be assigned to different presentation formats:

Young Investigator Award Session (YIA)

Two YIA sessions will be held onsite and chaired by senior faculty members: one dedicated to Clinical Cardiology and another to Basic Science.  

Each finalist will present the key points of his/her research followed by a Questions & Answers period led by a panel of experts who will judge the presentations and determine the winners and runners-up.

  • Submit in this category to benefit from:
    • Free registration to Heart Failure 2023
    • Prizes: first prize winner (€1,000) and two runners-up (€ 250)
  • Selection process: the selection committee will review the final top-scoring abstracts to appoint the finalists. The selected abstracts will be presented to a jury in a dedicated session including a questions and answers section

Nursing and Allied Professions Investigator Award Session (NIA)  

This dedicated Nursing and Allied Professions Award session will be held onsite and chaired by senior faculty members. Each finalist will present the key points of his/her research followed by a Questions & Answers period led by a panel of experts who will judge the presentations and determine the winners and runners-up.

  • Submit in this category to benefit from:
    • Free registration for Heart Failure 2023
    • Prizes: First Prize Winner (€1,000) and two Runners-Up (€ 250)
  • Conditions:
    • You must be a registered nurse, dietician (and related professions) or in training

Rapid Fire Oral Abstract sessions

The highest graded abstracts will be selected to be presented orally during the rapid-fire abstracts sessions which will be held onsite in the Agora and moderated by senior faculty members.

Moderated ePosters

The highest graded ePosters will be selected to be presented orally during dedicated Moderated ePosters sessions which will be held onsite moderated by senior faculty members.

Selected Presenters are required to present their research onsite in Prague.

ePosters only

ePosters will be grouped by topic in daily sessions.

All presented abstracts will be featured on the online congress platform for the online and on-site audience.

This dedicated platform will offer Interactivity features (such as Like, Share, Comment…) to engage with the presenters and facilitate scientific exchange on the presentation; it will allow continued discussions throughout the event.
