Childcare

EACVI 2025, Vienna, from 11 to 13 December

The EACVI is delighted to offer all parents a professional childcare service for the duration of the congress.

Make the most of your attendance while your child(ren) is well cared for and entertained at the Congress venue. The service will be provided by Wiener Kinderfreunde, a trusted provider of childcare services to events that has been working across conferences and congress.

Activities

TheWiener Kinderfreunde team will provide large and small toys, small tables and chairs for children and will organise leisure activities such as group and movement games, board games, quizzes, craft and creative workshops.

Commitment

While your child is being looked after, you can take part in the congress programme with peace of mind. 
All Wiener Kinderfreunde supervisors possess extensive professional experience as pedagogical specialists.

German and English-speaking experienced staff look after the children lovingly and offer various age-appropriate activities.  

Where, when, for whom

The Childcare service will be located within the congress venue.

Wiener Kinderfreunde will offer childcare services from 11 to 13 December 2025 according to the schedule below.
The programme is for children aged 0 to 14 years old.

Payment & registration

To guarantee a place at the creche, parents are encouraged to pre-register. While we will endeavour to accommodate on-site registrants, we cannot promise availability due to pre-booked staff levels. Full payment is required upon booking.

The fee is €30 (incl. VAT) per half-day block & per child. The opening hours have been adapted to the congress programme schedule:

  • Thursday, 11 December from 08:00 to 12:00
  • Thursday, 11 December from 12:45 to 17:30
  • Friday, 12 December from 08:00 to 12:45
  • Friday, 12 December from 13:30 to 17:00
  • Saturday, 13 December from 08:00 to 12:30
  • Saturday, 13 December from 13:15 to 15:45

Registration terms & conditions 

  • Sick children cannot be cared for
  • Children with special educational needs cannot be cared for in this context
  • Medicines may not be administered by the carers, only by the parents themselves
  • Common surfaces, toys, and equipment will be disinfected frequently throughout the event
  • If necessary, please bring diapers, wipes and a favourite toy or plush toy for your child. Please also bring a buggy with you for rest periods.
  • The Wiener Kinderfreunde reserves the right to exclude children who cannot be adequately cared for within this framework (e.g., because they endanger themselves or others) from care or to have them picked up immediately by their parents/guardians.

Cancellation

To ensure a full and dedicated service, cancellations must be made before 10 November 2025 for a full refund. Cancellations made after that date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

From 27 November, no refunds will be issued.

Data Privacy

The information collected is subject to data processing and storage. The recipient of the data is the European Society of Cardiology, the childcare supplier Wiener Kinderfreunde and ESC Staff for logistics organisation.
 Your data will only be used for the organisation of the meetings in reference in this online form. Your data will be kept for a duration of 2 years.

In accordance with the chapter 3 of the European Regulation 2016/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from ESC, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, and for information, ESC has appointed a Data Protection Officer that you can reach at dpo@escardio.org.
