Dear members of the ESC Working Group on e-Cardiology,
It is with great pleasure that I send you an update on the activities of our working group (WG) along with a selection of recommended readings on various topics.
Our WG successfully organized the first online educational event on January 14. Our WG Talk entitled “Wearable technology in cardiovascular medicine: an update” included three excellent presentations given by experts in the field, was well attended and motivated high participation in the polls and the Q&A session. You can now watch the video on-demand.
EHRA 2022 goes “Back to the Rhythm” from 3 to 5 April in Copenhagen, Denmark and online. EHRA 2022 will be a unique opportunity to access state-of-the-art lectures, debates, abstract presentations, live cases and practical workshops that will cover all aspects of arrhythmias, pacing and electrophysiology. Best abstracts within the topic of e-Cardiology/ Digital Health will be selected and presented during an “Best oral e-Cardiology Award session”. All finalists will be granted a free congress registration for EHRA 2022, while the winners will get an additional free registration for EHRA 2023.
The Frontiers in CardioVascular Biomedicine (FCVB) 2022 meeting is planned to be a fully in-person event from 29 April to 01 May 2022, in Budapest, Hungary. This event is designed to be cross-disciplinary to emphasise underlying scientific developments important to cardiovascular biology and to highlight interconnections with new areas of research.
The European Heart Journal - Digital Health is an Open Access, peer-reviewed journal, with a specific focus on digital health in cardiovascular medicine, connecting physicians with biomedical engineers, researchers, and allied health professionals. Submit online.
