Being a member of the Working Group on Coronary Pathophysiology and Microcirculation gives a sense of belonging, networking opportunities and flash inspirations. It is rewarding and fun! Being a Chairperson-Elect is an honor and responsibility, and that honor is given to Edina Cenko from Italy, Chairperson-Elect for the period 2022-2024. We congratulate her with a wish for a successful and fruitful work.

At the beginning of the spring 2022, we would like to draw your attention on the upcoming meetings, abstract submission deadlines and awards:
- Frontiers in CardioVascular Biomedicine 2022 will be held from Friday, 29 April - Sunday, 01 May in Budapest, Hungary. This year again it will be a hybride meeting « on-line/on-site ». We expect you on the session on Coronary microvascular dysfunction in cardiovascular disease, a Joint session with the ESC Working Group on Coronary Pathophysiology and Microcirculation, to be held on Apryl 30th, from 8:30 till 9:30 in Lecture Room 3. The session will be charred by Teresa Padro and Etto Eringa.
- ESC Congress 2022 Barcelona, Onsite & Online, will run from Friday 26 – Monday 29 August. You still have time to submit your Late-breaking science (from 4 April - 6 June).
- This year two young members of our working group received the Mobility Travel Grant. We congratulate Umberto Barbero (IT) and Alexandr Ceasovschih (RO) for winning the award, and to all applying candidates.
Finally in this issue of the Newsletter, Prof. Ana Djordjevic Dikic, Head of the Department for noninvasive functional diagnostics, Cardiology Clinic, Clinical Center of Serbia, Medical school, University of Belgrade comments on the paper “Absolute Coronary Blood Flow Measured by Continuous Thermodilution in Patients With Ischemia and Nonobstructive Disease”.
