Dear members of the Working Group on Adult Congenital Heart Disease,
As you know, this is a year of elections in our Working Group, and we have great news to announce.
Prof. Margarita Brida (Croatia) has been recently elected as our new Chairperson-Elect. Dr. Brida has been part of the Nucleus since 2018 and has been intensively active in promoting ACHD activities and knowledge, particularly in central and south eastern European countries.
On the other hand, the elections for the Ordinary Nucleus Members are just around the corner:
- 25 April – 9 May 2022: call for candidates
- 13 - 30 June 2022: online voting
- Before end of July 2022: announcement of the election results
Please, remember that you will need to RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP to be able to participate in the elections. The renewal process is very easy. Sign into your My ESC account, go to ‘My Membership’ and select ‘Manage’. For your convenience, you can opt for an automatic renewal to avoid repeating this process every year.
Finally, by the time this newsletter reaches you the EuroACHD 2022 will be just finished. We are sure the event will have been a success and a great opportunity for our ACHD community to come together again in an in-person meeting. For those that have not had the chance to attend the congress, the recorded sessions will be published on ESC 365 in the next few months.
