Registry of Pregnancy and Cardiac disease (ROPAC)

The impact of pregnancy on women with heart disease or the impact of maternal disease on the outcome of pregnancy for the baby is not yet fully understood. Pregnant women may have a spectrum of structural heart disease including congenital heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, cardiomyopathy, aortic disease and coronary artery disease.

ROPAC is conducted in collaboration with the ESC Working Group on Congenital Heart Disease, the ESC Working group on Heart Valve Disease and the Association for European Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology.
