The information collected in this app is subject to data processing to assist you in your ESC Congress attendance. The app allows you to login and sync your favourite sessions with the online programme so you can be sure not to miss a thing onsite.
When you use the app, information is collected in an automated manner about your device, your IP address, what pages you visit, and the general use you make of the app for future improvements of this support.
The recipients of the data are ESC Staff managing the service. The app supplier will also have a view in the data to allow the processing and rendering of the information.
In accordance with the chapter 3 of the European Regulation 2016/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from ESC, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, and for information, ESC has appointed a Data Protection Officer that you can reach at dpo@escardio.org.

The app has been designed for attendees of the ESC Congress 2022 and as such, all users should already have a My ESC account. For those who are curious and want to explore the app with the extended functionalities (login is not necessary for most functionalities), you will need to create an account. Please note that the ESC allows you to create a My ESC account per our general conditions of use of our websites and systems.
