  • 84-year-old woman
  • Arterial hypertension
  • 2001: unstable angina, PCI (DES) mid LAD
  • Mild dementia
  • Presents at ED after she felt down in nursing home, she doesn't know how it happened.

It is a very special experience. I felt that I was facing a real challenge and I gained a lot of benefit.

What I learned the most was systematic thinking and  to always consider that the daily life practice may differ somewhat from what is listed in the books.

The only thing that clears the difference between doctors is proper systematic thinking and to put the patient and his basic complaints in mind. Thank you Prof. Christiaan Vrints.
