COVID-19 (coronavirus)
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions resulting from it – in particular the suspension of external events at the Centre Cardio-Vasculaire de Valmante – the EAPC and the Centre Cardio-Vasculaire de Valmante have taken the difficult decision to cancel the 9th EAPC Training Course on the Use of Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing in Cardiology, scheduled for 9–10 October 2020.
The course promotes knowledge and use of cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) in cardiology, offers participants the opportunity to meet well-known experts in the field, assist in live demonstrations of CPET and discuss clinical cases.

Learning Objectives
The course aims to promote knowledge and use of cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) in cardiology, offering participants the opportunity to meet well-known experts in the field, assist in live demonstrations of CPET and discuss clinical cases. The whole spectrum of CPET applications in cardiology will be addressed, with a special focus on the use of CPET for exercise training prescription and prognostic stratification in cardiac patients. The course will cover the required knowledge in Cardiovascular Secondary Prevention and Rehabilitation according to the Curriculum for the Cardiologist.
