EHRA is proud to once again offer this unique training opportunity for individuals and centres.
Scope
To provide an opportunity for clinical training in the field of arrhythmias and cardiac pacing in an ESC member country, for medical graduates having completed their cardiology training but before obtaining a permanent, senior staff or consultant position.
The goal of this award is to help young candidates attain clinical competence and acquire high-quality experience in electrophysiology practice which will enable them to contribute to improving academic standards upon return to their own country.
Individuals
EHRA Training Fellowships are offered to give physicians the opportunity to get specialised training in clinical electrophysiology (EP) in a regular ESC member country preferably outside their home country.
Physicians need to have completed their cardiology training but not yet obtained a consultant or equivalent permanent status.
This training fellowship promotes the development of academic medicine in the field of clinical electrophysiology with emphasis on catheter ablation:
- For physicians with more extensive experience in electrophysiology (EP): the one-year training fellowship will deal with advanced mapping diagnosis and ablation of complex substrates, amongst other topics.
Centres
A unique aspect of the EHRA Training Fellowship is that the association is pleased to match individuals with EHRA Recognised Training Centres.
