“EAPC Championships” is a contest in which three countries of excellence in different fields of Cardiology compete for the award of the best clinical case.

Young Investigator Award Sessions
Selected for the outstanding quality of their work, young investigators will be competing in each session for an award presenting their original research in front of a jury.
The awards will be focused on - Secondary prevention & rehabilitation, Primary care & risk factor management, Population Science & public health, Sports Cardiology & exercise.
Finalists will receive free registration. The winners will be offered €500 prize and a complementary EAPC membership.

The European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC) puts great emphasis on presentations of young investigators, as they are the future of the field and to support young PHD's, peers and researchers from all continents.

Rapid Fire - Oral Abstract Sessions
Fast-paced and interactive sessions presenting key messages of original research abstracts in five slides.
Discussions will be led by experts chairing the session with interaction from the audience.

Moderated Poster Sessions
Research in a poster format presented to an appointed moderator in front of the audience during the inter-session coffee breaks from 09:30 to 10:30 (Thursday to Saturday) and from 15:15 to 16:15 on Thursday and Friday) .
Presenters are in competition for the "Best Moderated Poster" to win €200 prize. The audience is welcome to join in the discussion.
Poster Sessions
The posters are a visual display of original research abstracts. Typically a melting pot of ideas, scientific exchange, and networking between peers from across the globe.
Posters will be visited by dedicated senior scientists during the coffee breaks.
Top score posters will be presented each day of the congress from 09:30 to 10:30
