Presentation Formats

Abstract will be featured either as powerpoint slides or eposters.

Young Investigators Award (YIA) 

Presentation format: oral power point presentation

The 4 highest graded abstracts, submitted under the option “Young Investigators Award”, will compete in the Young Investigators Award session.

There is one YIA session per section.

All finalists will benefit from a free onsite registration to ESC Preventive Cardiology 2022. 

Prizes will be given to the best presentation in each session (a certificate, a prize of €500 and a complimentary EAPC Silver membership for the winners)

The YIA presenter should present onsite in Prague and should be 35 years or below at the time of the presentation.

Rapid Fire Abstract sessions

Presentation format: oral power point presentation

The presenters of the highest graded abstracts of each sub-specialty (population science, primary care, secondary prevention and cardiac rehabilitation, sports cardiology) will be selected to present their work on site in Prague during the rapid fire abstract sessions.

The presenters should be present onsite in Prague for their presentation.

Moderated Posters 

Presentation format: oral power point presentation

The presenters of the highest graded poster of each sub-specialty (population science, primary care, secondary prevention and cardiac rehabilitation, sports cardiology) will be selected to present their work on site in Prague during the Moderated Poster sessions.

The presenter of the Best Moderated Poster will receive a certificate.

The presenters should be present onsite in Prague for their presentation.

ePosters

Presentation format: ePoster - no oral presentation

Accepted research will be published on the congress dedicated platform as an ePoster.
These ePosters will be available during and after ESC Preventive Cardiology 2022, both on site and online.

On site, posters will be on display with high visibility in the meeting areas.
Online, ePosters will be available via the congress platform.

This platform will allow continued discussions during the event, with interaction functionalities such as rating the presentation, number of views, chat and comments.
The abstract submitter will be able to participate and follow the conversation on their abstract throughout the event.
