Dear Members of the Working Group Myocardial Function
In September 2019 the Working Group Myocardial Function organised a Position Paper meeting in Ahrensburg, close to Hamburg in Germany. Writing position papers is a major and important task of the Working Group next to many other initiatives. During this inspiring meeting one ongoing and two other coming position papers of the WG were discussed. Topics covered and discussed included echocardiography in animals, extracardiac / cardiac interactions and acute heart failure.
