Dear members of the ESC Working Group on Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology,
Since the past months, the COVID-19 pandemic has become the primary concern for the medical and research communities. The ESC is offering continuous updates on cardiovascular and thrombotic manifestations and complications of SARS-CoV2 infection on a dedicated homepage /insert link/.
In this newsletter, we highlight some recent key studies relating both to the vascular biology of COVID-19 and other findings of major interest with focus on extracellular vesicles and the Working Group’s recent Position Paper on endothelial dysfunction.
