ESC Working Group on Aorta & Peripheral Vascular Diseases

Dear Members,

Did you ever ask yourself who else is a member our Working Group? We have!

Let us introduce the ESC Working Group on Aorta and Peripheral Vascular Disease:

We currently have 603 members (25% female). Most of us are practicing (77%) and are older than 40 (69%). A few are in training (9%) or retired (2%). While we are practicing in 21 countries worldwide, Italy (17%), Spain (13%), France (10%) and Germany (8%) make up the top 4 in absolute numbers. We comprise a multi-disciplinary group with a wide range of backgrounds, with most of us being physicians, often clinical and interventional cardiologists and angiologists, but also vascular and cardio-thoracic surgeons, radiologists, nurses, basic scientists, engineers, physiotherapists, industrial scientists, administrators and much more.
