In memoriam - Professor Massimo Santini

Massimo Santini died in Rome at the age of 79. He was a pioneer in cardiac pacing and electrophysiology and a good mentor for many young physicians in Italy.
He organised 18 editions of the congress "Progress in Clinical Pacing" held in Rome every two years, with electrophysiologists attending from all around the world.
He was personally involved in daily clinical practice and took care of many patients in Rome.
