Objectives:

  • Provide a reliable resource for patients and doctors to use as part of a treatment programme
  • Continue to raise awareness of cardiac device implantation/management
  • Provide access to patients worldwide

Based on the latest ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines, myrhythmdevice.org helps patients get access to the information they need to make informed decisions when discussing the implantation of a cardiac device with their physician, caregivers and family.

Created by healthcare professionals, together with patients, the website combines medical information related to implantation, follow-up and replacement of pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable heart rhythm monitors. It includes tips for living with a cardiac device.

The website uses straightforward, easy-to-understand terms, and is user friendly.

myrhythmdevice.org is currently available in three languages, English, Spanish and Italian.
