About the European Heart Journal - Acute Cardiovascular Care (EHJ-ACVC)
Our journal offers a unique integrative approach by combining the expertise of the different subspecialties of cardiology, emergency and intensive care medicine in the management of patients with acute cardiovascular syndromes. Reading through the journal, cardiologists and all other healthcare professionals can access continuous updates that may help them to improve the quality of care and the outcome for patients with acute cardiovascular diseases.
On average, 230 submissions are received each year. With a rejection rate of 59%, 160 papers are published each year in print or online EJH-ACVC. (8 Issues / Year)
About the ESC-Acute Cardiovascular Care Association ( ACCA)
The mission of the ESC Acute Cardiovascular Care Association (ACCA) is to improve the quality of care and outcomes of patients with acute cardiovascular diseases. As a patient-centric organization, the ESC Acute Cardiovascular Care Association (ACCA) is a unique platform of exchange gathering multi-disciplinary healthcare professional involved in the management of patients with acute cardiovascular disease encompassing the entire process from the cardiac event until the patient stabilization.

The Acute Cardiovascular Care Association (ACCA) expects to appoint an enthusiastic internationally recognized expert in ACCA and research.
Potential candidates will be scrutinized by the Acute Cardiovascular Care Association (ACCA) leadership and called for an interview.
Term of mandate
Initial term is 3 years (1st March 2019 – 1st March 2022), renewable for 2 years, twice.
A transition phase is required from (1st March 2018 – 1st March 2019)
Official appointment shall take effect in March 2019.
