ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines endorsement and translation by National Cardiac Societies

Endorsement and translation encourage the dissemination of ESC guidelines to the widest possible professional readership, facilitating the implementation of best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease in your region.

Endorsement

Official endorsement requests can be submitted via the Endorsement Request form.

The ESC will proudly acknowledge official endorsements by National Cardiac Societies on its Guideline pages.

Translation and publication

National Cardiac Societies are given the exclusive right to translate the ESC Guidelines and to publish them in their official National Cardiac Society journal. Societies should request permission to do so using the Endorsement Request form.

National Cardiac Societies planning to translate the guidelines or their derivative products are invited to read the Policy for Translation of ESC Guidelines

Finalised translations must be approved and certified by the relevant National Cardiac Society President or Vice-President via the Certification letter. The translation and Certification letter should then be sent to the ESC for validation before publication.
