Overview

General practitioners, cardiologists, internists and other professionals manage hypertension in their daily work. It is important for them to be aware of the latest findings in the field and how to optimally treat their patients especially when other disorders are concomitant.

The important findings described in the 2018 ESC / ESH Guidelines on the Management of Arterial Hypertension were disseminated in a guidelines implementation workshop organised by the ESC Council on Hypertension.
