We are very pleased to welcome you onsite in Budapest. Please note that most COVID-19 restrictions in Hungary have been lifted since 9 March 2022. See the information below to ensure your journey is as fast and easy as possible.
Before you travel

It is your responsibility to ensure you check and comply with the latest health and travel regulations.
Visa Requirements and Invitation Letter
A customised invitation letter for visa purposes is available for delegates with a confirmation that registration has been paid in full. See more.
Book your hotel
We have negotiated room allotments with some hotels in the centre of Budapest within easy reach of Semmelweis University. See more.
Create your programme
Browse through the Scientific Programme and select the sessions you don’t want to miss.
To personalise your programme we recommend you sign in first (in the top right corner of the screen) with your My ESC login and password.
To include the sessions you don’t want to miss in your personal programme, click on the heart. The session will be saved in “My Programme”.
Important: In the programme, timing is adjusted to your computer setting.
Print your badge
To ensure you can access the congress and start enjoying FCVB 2022 without delay, your congress badge must be printed in advance and presented at the congress entrance.
Please note: digital versions on mobile phones, tablet and other devices will not be accepted.

COVID-19
The individual safety and hygiene measures of all participants is our priority. All participants are also personally responsible for observing the safety and hygiene measures mentioned below.
- Mouth and nose coverings: All restrictions are lifted, but we strongly recommend that delegates wear face masks in all enclosed spaces.
- Cleaning and disinfection measures:
- All surfaces will be disinfected on a regular basis
- Hand sanitiser dispensers will be provided at the venue
- Cashless payments
- A reduced number of paper documents
- COVID Testing: If you need to get tested in Budapest you can find centres through this link. The venue is located in the Ferenc Liszt International Airport.
Cloakroom
Luggage and cloakroom facilities are available within the venue.
First Aid
Participants in need of medical treatment should refer to an ESC staff or call directly the Emergency Line 112
Coffee & Lunch breaks
Coffee breaks & lunches are included in the registration fee. The catering area is located on the right of the main entrance.

Scientific Resources
Presentations slides & voice over will be accessible on the congress platform, to all registered delegates until 16 May. CBCS Members can access these resources on ESC 365, the cardiology knowledge hub, from 17 May and all year long.
