ESC Working Group on Development, Anatomy & Pathology

Dear colleagues

The month of October has arrived and with it the ESC WG on Development, Anatomy & Pathology (DAP) Annual Meeting, the most important event organized by our community every year.

The meeting will take place in the city of Málaga from Monday, October 14th to Wednesday, October 16th, 2019. More than 120 participants have registered to participate in this scientific congress with an outstanding list of guest speakers, including two keynote ones (Dr. Pura Muñoz-Cànoves and Dr. James Martin).

Although the meeting officially starts at 2.00 pm on October 14th, an exciting satellite hands-on session has been scheduled from 9.00 to 12.30 at the Andalusian Centre for Nanomedicine and Biotechnology (BIONAND) that will feature in situ inspection of congenital heart diseased specimens together with videos and 3D reconstructions.

This year, the WG Young Community, lead by its representatives will be in charge of handling the poster session, showcasing the most relevant contributions made to the meeting under a poster format. For more details on the definitive program, please check online.

Hope to meet you in Málaga in a few days.

Best wishes,

Prof. José Maria Pérez-Pomares, Chairperson
