ESC Working Group on Development, Anatomy & Pathology

Dear Members of the Working Group,

We hope that this message finds you well, despite the enormous increase in Covid-positive people in Europe and further restrictions being imposed on our daily life and work. We sincerely hope that the Covid-crisis can be managed before the Christmas Holidays and everybody can enjoy this special time of the year.

An important point of your attention is that you will receive a mail from the ESC to renew your (free) membership of the working group in the last months of this year. Please do renew your membership, when you want to be kept update on new findings, reports, webinars, meetings etc organized by our ESC Working Group. It’s easy to do – just sign into your My ESC account, go to My Membership and select ‘Manage’.

The sixth edition of Frontiers in CardioVascular Biomedicine (FCVB) will take place in Budapest from 29 April-1 May 2022. In keeping with the ESC mission to support young scientists, the Council is providing 2 travel grants (600 Euros per grant) to our Working Group. Submitted abstracts will be scored by the FCVB committee, and the two with the highest scores will be awarded a travel grant.

Finally, we are all working towards being together at our annual meeting in Marseille, France from the 12th-14th May 2022.

Best Regards,

Maurice J B van den Hoff, Bill Chaudhry and José Maria Pérez-Pomares
