
The EWGCCE meeting gathers young researchers and high-level international experts in cardiac cells and provides an overview of topical issues in signalling, ion channels, arrhythmias, models and techniques at experimental and clinical level.

Call for abstracts and titles - share your research!
The abstract submission and grant application periods are now closed but there's still time to submit your title until 20 May 2022!
Submit your title
Two different submission types:
- Title: titles can apply for poster presentation only. Title submitters may qualify for the poster award but not for a travel grant.
- Closed - Abstract in full: abstracts will be considered for oral presentations or poster presentations. Abstract submitters may qualify for a travel grant or poster award.
Poster awards
The WG CCE will be selecting the four best poster presentations amongst the abstracts and titles presented during the conference.
The winners will receive a €450 financial prize and certificate. The results will be announced during the closing ceremony.
Scientific programme
The scientific programme is organised in five sessions, each composed of one invited lecture and three short presentations selected from the abstracts, in addition to two poster sessions, and the Carmeliet-Coraboeuf-Weidmann award lecture. The scientific programme will provide the latest updates and will showcase the most promising research in our field. All of the sessions will provide unique opportunities for networking, debate and interaction with world-leading experts.

Travel grant applications (closed)
The WG CCE is pleased to offer financial support of €350 to motivated candidates to facilitate attendance at the meeting in Toledo.
Recipients of the travel grant must be:
- Members of the ESC Working Group on Cardiac Cellular Electrophysiology
- Presenters of an abstract/title at the 46th EWGCCE Meeting
- PhD students or Post-doctoral
Priority will be given to applicants from low-income countries, according to the World Bank Index.
Mandatory support elements to provide:
- Motivation letter
- Full title of the abstract and/or poster title you have submitted to EWGCCE 2022
- Valid student ID or letter from university to confirm your status
