European Society of Cardiology organises donation for the victims of the earthquake in Italy

Rome, 26 August 2016: The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Board has today decided to give the opportunity to its delegates and Congress participants to make donations for the victims of the earthquake which struck Italy on August 24.

Donations can be made to a collection box that will be located in the registration area throughout the ESC Congress 2016.

Money that is collected will be donated and distributed to the Italian National Civil Protection Department, under the supervision of the ESC Secretary/Treasurer Professor Francesco Cosentino.
