Covering both principles and practice, the new edition of the ESC Textbook of Preventive Cardiology will be a 'state of the art' resource for secondary, primary and primordial prevention of cardiovascular disease. Comprehensive, practical, and extensively linked to ESC and EAPC practice guidelines and recommendations, it will connect the latest evidence base to strategies and proposals for the implementation of prevention in clinical practice.
For this global textbook, we seek applications for authorship from experts in all aspects of preventive cardiology – basic, clinical and epidemiology - from around the globe. The editorial team chaired by Prof. S. Gielen, Prof. D. Wood, and Prof. M. Piepoli intends to create a truly international author team with strong representation from the US and Canada, Asia and Australia, and South America.
