Applications should be made via the online submission system (no paper submissions will be accepted). The online application must contain all required documents in order to be processed.
The application deadline is 15 October (year N) for the EACVI Fellowship to be recognised in year N+1. The newly elected FEACVI will be informed in December, year N if their application has been approved or rejected.
All FEACVI privileges, benefits and duties formally begin on 1 January (year N+1). Upon notification, the newly elected EACVI Fellow should pay the fellowship fee as soon as possible and before 30 November (year N).
Selection process
The candidate is informed by email of the acceptance/rejection of their application.
Applications submitted after the annual deadline will not be considered by the Credential Committee in charge, or by the EACVI Board.
Annual EACVI Fellowship fee
All EACVI Fellows are required pay an annual FEACVI fee.
- €300 (incl. VAT) is payable by 30 November each year
- Only (year N) EACVI Silver Members may apply to be a Fellow of the following year (year N+1).
The yearly EACVI Fellowship fee is €300 and covers the period 1 January to 31 December (year N+1).
Newly selected FEACVI will receive a request for payment in November. The request for payment is mailed and payment must be received by 30 November to ensure the delivery of the European Heart Journal - Cardiovascular Imaging in early January (year N+1).
If the fellowship fee remains unpaid on 1 January all fellowship privileges and benefits are cancelled. After two years of non-payment of fees, consecutively or not, the Fellow will be informed of his/her exclusion from EACVI Fellowship unless payment is received within three months. Reintegration of an excluded fellow in the EACVI Fellowship register will be accepted upon payment of all fees due.
A ”pay in order” principle applies: the fellowship fee is due every year and one may only pay the fellowship fee of the given year, on payment of the fee of the previous year.
Renewal process
FEACVI fees are due annually.
Payments should be made by credit card, in euros only, through your My ESC account.
