The course comprises a mix of lectures, case-based presentations with multiple-choice questions, and two types of hands-on practical workshops: image acquisition and optimisation on TOE simulators; and image post-processing performed by attendees on dedicated workstations and guided by faculty.
Organised by the EACVI Heart Imagers of Tomorrow Committee and the Working Group on Echocardiography and Imaging Modalities in Cardiology of the Croatian Cardiac Society, this teaching course will focus on Lifetime Management of Patients with Heart Valve Diseases and Cardiac Devices.
The course is designed for clinical cardiologists, paediatric cardiologists, adult congenital heart disease specialists and radiologists, with an interest in CMR in congenital and paediatric heart disease.
The programme encompasses a mix of interactive lectures, video teaching, scanner optimisation and hands-on practical using dedicated workstations performed directly by attendees.
There will be a series of topic-based core sessions that will include an interactive lecture, anatomy specimen demonstration and hands-on cases related to the topic on dedicated workstations.
In total 15-20 cases will be shown which can be used for EACVI log-book accreditation pathways (both CMR and CMR CHD) provided the maximum number of course cases is not exceeded for accreditation purposes.
The European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) is pleased to announce the third edition of the EACVI CCT Course taking place from 12 to 14 September 2024. This face-to-face course, bringing faculty and participants together, will be an opportunity for valuable exchange.
This course is designed to help participants prepare for certification in cardiovascular magnetic resonance. The programme comprises a mix of interactive lectures and hands-on practical lessons with simulation scanning and image analysis sessions in which attendees will perform on dedicated workstations.
Organised by the EACVI Heart Imagers of Tomorrow Committee and the Turkish Society of Cardiology.
