Research fellowships of the Heart Failure Association of the ESC

An opportunity for research training in the field of heart failure

Grant:  30,000 EUR per year.  Research Fellowships may be held for a period of two years.

  • clinical applicants: a major part of specialist cardiology training will have been completed but you should not yet have obtained a permanent or "consultant" post.
  • basic scientist applicants: initial research training (PhD or equivalent) should have been completed.
  • European residents or citizens, including those from countries considered as Associates of the EU
  • applicants should be under 35 years of age

"I am very grateful for this fellowship. It has allowed me to develop as a good scientist and mentor for students. The past 2 years have been extremely productive regarding scientific results and output. In fact, during the time of the fellowship I have generated 2 main experimental publications as well as one review and one editorial "
