EHJ Digital Health – Editor-in-Chief - Call for candidates



The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) seeks Editor-in-Chief (EiC) applications for its latest publication, European Heart Journal Digital Health (EHJ Digital Health). 

EHJ Digital Health is an Open Access, online-only title and is the official journal of the ESC Digital Health Committee.

EHJ Digital Health covers all digital initiatives, innovations, techniques, equipment and applications that have now, or may have in the future, an impact on the global cardiovascular community, including: digital health, e-health, m-health, wearables, artificial intelligence and machine learning, electronic medical or health records, remote monitoring, digital clinical decision support, in-silico modelling and all other digital approaches relevant to health or healthcare.

The ESC seeks highly engaged and highly motivated candidates for the position of EHJ Digital Health’s inaugural Editor-in-Chief (EiC).

The new EiC will support the overall mission of the ESC to ‘reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease’ by ensuring the new journal’s contribution to cutting-edge research and future clinical practice.

 

The ESC is interested in receiving applications from candidates fulfilling the below criteria:

  • Regarded highly in the field of cardiovascular digital health, throughout the world and especially in the Americas and Asia
  • Particularly good track-record in cardiology with wide experience as an author, reviewer and editor/associate editor
  • Recognised for team leading ability/ability to build successful working relationships
  • Enthusiastic researcher who is a widely published author in top tier journals
  • Embodies the role of EHJ Digital Health in advancing the global cardiovascular health community’s knowledge of the science, and successful application of, digital advances
  • Must be an ESC member
