Basic Echocardiography Course - Restricted to EACVI members

The European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) widens the portfolio of educational products offered to its members by providing this online Basic Echocardiography Course. 

The board members of the EACVI want to present with this illustrated basic course an easy and fruitful instrument in education of echocardiography. The theoretical knowledge about transthoracic echocardiography with some practical comments is presented in convincing and self-explaining presentations.

The slide format has been chosen to overcome the main limitation of conventional echo books that can show only static figures, while the main landmark of echocardiography is to look at the heart and blood flow in motion. This is a huge opera that consists of 1062 slides which contain 857 videos and are subdivided into 16 chapters covering all basic echocardiography topics: from physics to anatomy, and assessment of heart chambers and valvular structures.
