Ok, got it
The objective of this course is to provide participants with an up-to-date review of the most recent, clinically relevant, developments in the use of echocardiography in critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The meeting is open to Cardiologists, Intensivists, Cardiac sonographers, and other health professionals with an interest in echocardiography and/or critical care.
Young cardiologists are particularly encouraged to attend, since this event will be under the auspices of the Gulf Heart Association in collaboration with the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging / Heart Imagers of Tomorrow (EACVI/HIT).
We strongly believe that a broader use of echocardiography would be beneficial in terms of diagnostic capability and patient management.
Therefore, we would like to involve colleagues to participate to this course aimed at developing the use of echocardiography in ICUs. This would allow the current "evolution" in mentalities to become a true "revolution" in our daily practice.
At the end of the course we expect that each participant will have the ability to recognize the main pathologic findings that can occur in a patient admitted in the Intensive Care Unit.
