Interventional Cardiology

Aim of the EAPCI-PCR Fellows Course

This course is designed to support the continued development of medical doctors who have started or have recently completed a programme of training in interventional cardiology in the core subjects of the syllabus.

Who should attend?

Cardiology fellows who have been accepted for training in interventional cardiology, are performing their period of training, or young cardiologists who have recently completed their training or wish to refresh their interventional training. To allow full interaction, the course will be open to a maximum number of 150 attendees.

What should I expect from this course?

All lectures are given by renowned experts drawn from the interventional faculty. They cover in depth all the aspects of the subject discussed, from the basics to the latest developments.

Lectures: 

  • are open to questions from the participants.
  • cover review of cases and complications, in a preliminary session or integrated into the lectures or questions,
  • offer examples of practical applications of the concepts discussed.

Breaks allow interaction with the Faculty and colleagues.
