Increase possibilities for mentorship of doctoral students and researchers by creating a database with names of mentors.
Increase research collaborations by creating an overview of doctoral students and junior researchers interested in future research collaboration in the field of cardiovascular patient care.
Stimulate joint research projects between members of CCNAP and beyond.
Provide support and education to doctoral students by increasing exchange of ideas and state of the art seminars during the annual Spring Meeting on Cardiovascular Nursing.

Publish a research agenda reflecting the priorities for research in the area of cardiovascular patient care, from a nursing and allied professional perspective.
