RENFE C1 line links Malaga airport with the city center in about 12 minutes.
If you plan to get to downtown Malaga, be sure to get off the train at the last station, which is Centro-Alameda and not in the previous one (Málaga - RENFE). This one is the main train station of the city and is about 20 minute walk from the center of Malaga.

To Fuengirola: From 05:42 am to 22:42 pm.
To Airport: From 06:20 am to 23:20 pm.
With a 20 minutes frequency.
By Bus
There are urban, intercity and long distance buses available that run to different destinations.
City buses: there is an express bus that reaches the city center in 15 minutes.
Intercity buses: run to Marbella, Estepona and Malaga-Santa Amalia. Long-distance buses: various buses run to Motril, Granada, Sevilla or Algeciras.
Connect to the city center of Malaga. There’s an Express bus service that makes the journey may vary between 15 and 25 minutes.
Opening hours: From 07:00 am to 00:00 am. Last 5 buses are 09.10 pm, 09.40 pm, 10.55 pm and 00.00 am.

By Taxi
The trip from Malaga Airport to the city center takes approximately 20 minutes.
In order to identify the official taxis, please bear in mind that the vehicles are white and have a blue stripe on the side.
In the arrivals area of Terminal 3 from there’s a taxi rank enabled which also connects with the train via a pedestrian path.
In other areas of the airport taxis can be stopped or even get on one that is in one of the designated rows. Taxis available are identified because they emit a green light.
