Technical recommendations
The ESC Preventive Cardiology 2022 platform is designed with a responsive interface that is mobile friendly but for an optimal experience, we recommend that you access the platform on a desktop computer.
Supported Browsers
We support the most current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox. Chrome is the preferred browser.
Should you have difficulty accessing the abstracts (Abstracts & Clinical Cases Gallery), please clear your web browser's cookies (in Chrome: CTRL+Shift+Del).
Tips for the best experience
- Disable your web browser’s ad blocker (this is normally done through the Settings in your browser). Turning off the ad blocker will help us confirm your attendance and deliver your CME credits.
- Zoom out on your web browser to see the full room view.
- If you are using Google Chrome:
- To zoom out – Simultaneously press Ctrl and – on your keyboard
- To zoom in – Simultaneously press Ctrl and + on your keyboard
- On Windows 10: to set screen zoom, right-click on your desktop and select Display settings from the popup menu. Zoom can be adjusted in the popup window.
- If you can’t hear a presentation: Ensure the volume on your computer speakers is turned up and that the sound is not muted. Using the button at the bottom left of the video, confirm the volume level.
Interactive features
How can I interact during the presentation?
Most sessions will have a Q&A window on the right of the presentation where you can ask questions and interact with other participants through the Forums. Each of your posts will be identified with your name and country, allowing the audience to recognise your contribution.
All posts* should be made in English so the global community can understand and respond.
*ESC term and conditions: Participants guarantee that the content he/she submits on the Forum is not obscene, threatening, harassing, deceptive, invasive of another’s privacy, offensive, defamatory of any person, illegal or otherwise deliberately intended to upset or harm other users. The European Society of Cardiology reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to edit, refuse to publish, and remove any user’s content from ESC websites at any time and without prior notice.
How can I interact with an abstract or clinical case presenter in the on-demand programme?
When consulting a presentation, you can use the following functionalities - Like, or Comment to post a message.
Presenters are invited to check back on their presentation(s) throughout the congress to respond to comments and/or questions that may arise.
If you enjoy a presentation, please make sure to Like it – and contribute to the rating of the content online – this will help other participants find and enjoy the content.

The application procedure is available online from 15 June to 30 September. The applicant must submit the application online before the annual deadline: 30 September. Discover more.

Registration
To register, you will be asked to sign in to your My ESC account. If you do not have a My ESC account, you will need to create one during the registration process, which will take about two minutes.
Registration is reserved for certified healthcare professionals, associated press and other stakeholders in science, management, and prevention of cardiovascular disease.

I’m not sure I can be present for the whole congress. How can I still access the scientific presentations?
All the congress resources will remain accessible until 25 April 2022 for all the registered delegates. If you prefer unlimited access to those same resources without a deadline, a Membership offer may be more suitable.

How can I access the full programme?
The full programme can be found here.
Exact starting times may differ slightly, we’d advise you to join five minutes early to ensure you do not miss the start. Presentations will be made available on demand within 24 hours.
Time Zones
The official event time zone is Central European Summer Time.
Translation and Subtitles
All presentations are in English. Translations are not available.
Faculty
At what time will my presentation be broadcast?
We invite you to access your agreement form to find the details related to your contribution to ESC Preventive Cardiology 2022, including the broadcast date and time of your presentation.
Kindly consider that timing can vary slightly, therefore we advise you to connect five minutes before the scheduled broadcast time.
Where can I find/watch my presentation again?
All presentations will be made available on demand 24 hours after broadcast. The content will be accessible on the congress platform until 25 April 2022 to all registered participants. EAPC Members can access these same resources for a much longer period by logging in to their My ESC account.
How can I interact with viewers during the broadcast of my presentation?
A Forum is available to give speakers the opportunity to exchange directly with viewers. Your presence online in the Forum at the time of your presentation would be most appreciated.
To enter the Forum and interact with the audience:
- Connect to the platform on the day/time of your presentation
Please note, the times indicated are approximate, so we ask you to connect five minutes before and, if possible, plan to stay longer than your actual presentation to accommodate any unexpected delays in the broadcast. - During your presentation you will see a Forum window on the side of the screen. Use the chat function to enter the Forum. Each of your posts will be identified with your name and country, allowing the audience to recognise your contribution.
The Forum is an area for scientific exchange rather than a questions and answers page.
