Certificate of Attendance and Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit

ICNC-CT 2021 Virtual

The ICNC-CT 2021 Virtual, Sophia Antipolis, France, 09/05/2021-11/05/2021 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 10 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. Accreditation will be based on the real time tracked spent viewing scientific sessions from 9 to 11 May and for all on-demand scientific sessions viewed until 25 May 2021 (except for the informal sessions that took place in the Live Abstract Discussions Rooms on 9 May 2021 at 17:10 CEST and 10 May 2021 at 18:10 CEST) within a maximum of 10 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).

How to receive your CME certificate

The CME certificate will be available after the congress as of 14 June and will be based on the real time tracked spent viewing scientific sessions from 9 to 11 May and for all on-demand sessions viewed until 25 May 2021, except for the informal sessions that took place in the Live Abstract Discussions Rooms (9 May 2021 at 17:10 CEST and 10 May 2021 at 18:10 CEST).

Please be aware that any tracking blockers on your device or browser may prevent us from tracking your activity properly, with the result that the CME points will not be added on your certificate of attendance and cannot be claimed after the event.

To access your credits as of 14 June:

  1. Please complete the EACCME evaluation form
  2. Retrieve your CME certificate after the congress from your My ESC account.

Participants from USA and Canada

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

The certificates of attendance will be available after the congress, more information will be available soon.
