Press Accreditation and Registration

To get your Press accreditation and register for ESC Congresses & Events please visit the ESC Press Office web pages and learn more about our registration process.

Please note that the ESC Press Office will verify your credentials before giving you any accreditation.

Company or media outlet business cards or membership cards will not be accepted as valid. Press registration is not available to Industry or its Public Relations representatives, event management, marketing or communications representatives, even if they have a valid press card.

Any media outlet or press representative wishing to attend an ESC Event and/or to obtain official press releases from the ESC Press Office, must commit to respecting any and all embargoes set by the ESC.

Invitation Letter

A customised invitation letter for visa purpose is available for download through your My ESC account. Such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates raise travel funds or obtain a visa. Please note, however, this does not bind the ESC to provide financial support.

Visa application

Please check with your local embassy what documents are needed to obtain a visa for Austria.

Official Agency for AIFA submissions (Prerichiesta AIFA)

According to Italian legislation, any Marketing Authorisation Holder or pharmaceutical company responsible for the commercialisation of a drug, which organises or helps to organise, whether by direct or indirect funding in Italy or abroad, a congress, or a meeting on topics in any way related to the use of medicines, shall notify the competent Unit of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) at least 60 days before the date of the event to ensure that these adhere to strict technical criteria and aim to provide further knowledge in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceutical technology, biochemistry, physiology, pathology and clinical medicine.
