* Nurse/Student/Technician: a statement on official letterhead proving your Nurse/Technician status, both signed and stamped by your Head of Department, will be requested during the registration process. For Students, a currently valid student card will be required.

What your registration includes

Get Together Networking Event

The Get Together Networking Event will be held on Saturday 9 July from 20:00 to 22:00 at the Palazzo Borghese. It is open to all FCVB 2016 delegates and the registration fee of €30 includes drinks and finger food.

Press Registration

To validate your registration as a journalist, the ESC Press Office will need:

  • A valid press identity card or appropriate letter of assignment with proof of three recent published articles (cardiology or health-related, or referring to a previous ESC Event)
  • An Embargo form dully filled out is mandatory and will be requested when you collect your badge onsite at the congress.

If the journalist has attended previous ESC Events, samples of the event coverage should be sent in priority. Journalists may be required to provide samples of their work at all times.

Please note, company or media outlet business cards or membership cards will not be accepted as valid.
Press registration is not available to Industry or its Public Relations representatives, event management, marketing or communications representatives, even if they have a valid press card.

Invitation Letter

You may download a customised invitation letter for visa purpose here.

Such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates raise travel funds or obtain a visa. Please note, however, this does not bind the ESC to provide financial support.

Official Agency for AIFA submissions (Prerichiesta AIFA)

According to Italian legislation, any Marketing Authorisation Holder or pharmaceutical company responsible for the commercialisation of a drug, which organises or helps to organise, whether by direct or indirect funding in Italy or abroad, a congress, or a meeting on topics in any way related to the use of medicines, shall notify the competent Unit of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) at least 60 days before the date of the event to ensure that these adhere to strict technical criteria and aim to provide further knowledge in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceutical technology, biochemistry, physiology, pathology and clinical medicine.

AIM Group International has been appointed as the official agency for AIFA submission to support sponsors and exhibitors with these formalities. Pharmaceutical companies which require the authorisation from AIFA are advised to contact:
