On behalf of the EACVI Board, I am delighted to announce that our flagship congress - EuroEcho 2021 - will welcome you back from 9 to 11 December:
Onsite in Berlin, Germany and online – around the world!
The past 18-months have been an incredible journey for everyone, with uncertainty and disruption affecting all of us. The success of online congresses has taken many by surprise, and while many praise the accessibility of online learning, others miss personal connections, immersive conversations and networking.
To support you and cater to the needs of our entire community, the full scientific programme will be available in both the onsite and online events, so you can choose how to take part – your EuroEcho 2021, your way.
For those of you who wish to joins us in Berlin, the onsite event will provide an exciting return to networking, meeting face to face and enjoying the thrill of discovering, learning, and sharing together in-person, whilst respecting the highest sanitary measures for your comfort and safety.
For colleagues who cannot attend onsite or prefer to connect online, a fully interactive and event awaits you, with exclusive opportunities to ask your questions to the experts, interact with colleagues and attend the abstract discussion rooms where presenters will share innovative research.
The main themes of this year’s congress are:
- Valvular Heart Disease & Ischemic Heart Disease
- Imaging: Echocardiography & Multi Modality Sessions
The programme will include the most up-to-date research and clinical findings will be discussed on the broader spectrum of echocardiography alongside other cardiovascular imaging modalities. Cardiologists, physicians and allied professionals from other specialties and imagers who use these cardiac and vascular imaging techniques will discuss how to optimise all these techniques for the best patient outcomes and how to further develop them in the future.
The call for abstract and clinical cases is now open until 6 September, we look forward to receiving your latest findings to be shared and discussed with the community.
On behalf of the EACVI Board, I thank you for your trust and commitment to your community over the last year. Despite the difficult times, you have never stopped learning, sharing your talent and demonstrating that progress for our patients is key.
On behalf of all of us at EACVI, we look forward to welcoming you in Berlin and online for an exciting EuroEcho 2021!
