General Cancellation Information

Why has the congress been cancelled?

The past few months have been a time to reflect on the mission of our ESC Digital Summit. The pandemic, however, is also preventing us from physically meeting for ESC Digital Summit, scheduled for 9-10 October will not take place in Tallinn.

Will the congress be postponed to a later date ?

No, the ESC Digital Summit is cancelled but in its place, we are launching ESC Digital Week in October an exciting online event to push the boundaries of tomorrow’s health solutions.


Will my registration fee be refunded?

Your registration fee will be refunded in full as soon as possible. We recognise the disappointment and inconvenience this has caused, and we are waiving our normal reimbursement rules.

How, when and where will I be refunded for my registration fee?

You will be automatically refunded on the credit card you used to register. In case the payment was done by bank transfer you can add the bank details in your MY ESC account.  Note that the registration will only be refunded to the account used for the payment of your registration.

Can I get refunded for my accommodation?

Please contact your agency or hotel to cancel your hotel accommodation and to check the cancellation conditions.

What steps should I take to get reimbursed for the costs related to my travel / accommodation?

For hotel accommodation please contact the agency or hotel to cancel your booking and check the cancellation conditions. For your airline travel, contact your airline directly and if you have taken a travel insurance, contact your provider for information about the cancellation procedure.
