How do I register?

To register, you will be asked to sign in to your My ESC account. If you do not have a My ESC account, you will need to create one during the registration process, which will take about two minutes.

Who is eligible to register to ESC Digital Summit 2021?

Registration is reserved to certified healthcare professionals, associated press and other stakeholders in the science, management, and prevention of cardiovascular disease.

I can’t attend ESC Digital Summit. How can I access the scientific presentations?

We are sorry you will miss the online event and interaction with your peers.

All resources from ESC Digital Summit 2021 will be available on-demand from the Digital Summit platform until 8 November to all registered participants. Thereafter ESC Professional Members and FESC will be able to access all ESC Digital Summit 2021 resources from ESC 365 at anytime.

Technical recommendations

The online platform is designed with a responsive interface that is mobile friendly but for an optimal experience, we recommend that you access the platform on a desktop computer.

Supported Browsers

We support the most current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox. Chrome is the preferred browser.

Tips for a successful and convenient congress experience

  • Disable your web browser’s ad blocker (this is normally done through the Settings in your browser). Turning off the ad blocker will help us confirm your attendance and deliver your CME credits.
  • Zoom out on your web browser to see the full room view.
  • If you are using Google Chrome:
    • To zoom out – Simultaneously press Ctrl and  on your keyboard
    • To zoom in – Simultaneously press Ctrl and + on your keyboard
  • On Windows 10: to set screen zoom, right click on your desktop and select Display settings from the popup menu. Zoom can be adjusted in the popup window.
  • If you can’t hear a presentation: Ensure the volume on your computer speakers is turned up and that the sound is not muted. Using the button at the bottom left of the video, confirm the volume level.

How can I access the full programme?

The Programme is available here.

Exact starting times may differ slightly, we’d advise you to join five minutes early to ensure you do not miss the start. Presentations will be made available on demand within 24 hours.

Time zones

The official time zone is Central European Time. 

How can I interact during the presentation?

Most sessions will have a Q&A window on the right of the presentation where you can ask questions and interact with other participants through the Forums. Each of your posts will be identified with your name and country, allowing the audience to recognise your contribution.

All posts* should be made in English so the global community can understand and respond.

At what time will my presentation be broadcasted?

We invite you to access your agreement form to find the details related to your contribution to ESC Digital Summit 2021 including the date and time your presentation will be broadcasted.

Kindly consider that timing can slightly vary, therefore we advise you to connect five minutes earlier than your scheduled time.

Where can I find/watch my presentation again?

How can I interact with the viewers during the broadcast of my presentation?

A forum is available to give speakers the opportunity to exchange directly with viewers. Your presence online in the forum at the time of your presentation would be most appreciated. 

To enter the forum and interact with the audience:

  1. Connect to the platform on the day/time of your presentation
    Please note the times indicated are approximative, so we ask you to connect five minutes before and, if possible, plan to stay longer than your actual presentation duration to accommodate any delay in the broadcast.
  2. During your presentation you will see on the side a forum window. Use the chat function to enter the forum discussion. Each of your posts will be identified with your name and country, allowing the audience to recognise your contribution.

The forum is an area for scientific exchange rather than a questions and answers page.
