The aim of these grants is to encourage and support the development of the professional careers towards the fight against cardiovascular disease.
Recognising that the current regulatory environment is likely to impact the direct sponsorship of clinicians and scientists to congresses, the ESC is offering Educational Grants for ESC Congress 2019 in Paris.
Educational Grants are offered to healthcare professionals, clinicians and researchers who have limited access to funding or difficulties to obtain financial assistance in order to attend the Congress.
Successful applicants will receive €850 as a contribution towards the costs of travel and accommodation and will also benefit from a free ESC Congress registration.
All healthcare professionals in the Cardiovascular field who are ESC Professional Member are eligible to apply, priority will be given to applicants who are first-author or co-author of a research submitted to ESC Congress 2019 as well as individuals from low & middle-income countries members of the ESC.

There is no strict age limit, the applicant is required to complete all mandatory fields and upload a CV.
Please note that you can not apply for multiple ESC congress related grants within the European Society of Cardiology grant offers.
Previous year ESC Congress Educational Grants awardees (2016, 2017 or 2018) are not eligible to apply for ESC Congress 2019 Educational Grants.

Upon notification, confirmation of acceptance by the awardees and complementary information must be provided by mid May 2019.
